Purpose of this Job - Our sales consultants support Wellbeing Escapes commitment to provide exceptional customer service and knowledge based advice to a very discerning client base. Sales skills, professional service, client follow-up and after-care, in order to build client loyalty to Wellbeing Escapes, are central to the job.
The sales consultant handles all aspects of customer service. The consultant handles initial customer contacts by phone and email. They evaluate the customer's needs and make recommendations for the client's holidays based on these discussions. The majority of our clients are informed, busy individuals who have either experienced these types of holidays or have a keen interest to do so. Many clients are women who travel on their own and take these holidays as investment in themselves. Our consultants will be trained by our expert staff, our suppliers as well as experiencing the product personally. Our consultants handle all customer requests from flight arrangements, accommodation, dining menu plans, insurance coverage to actual spa programmes and schedules. Our consultant will take a genuine interest in the quality of the customer experience and our client's ultimate satisfaction. Our consultants are provided with all the support and tools necessary to be successful.
Duties:
- Provide consistent, professional, courteous service
- Provide knowledge and experience based advice to satisfy customer enquiries
- Be able to meet individual sales and service targets whilst contributing to overall company goals
- Communicate both verbally and in writing in a professional manner
- Respond to client requests in a timely manner
- Be able to provide clear, accurate feedback from customers and suppliers in order to improve the customer experience and Wellbeing Escapes service levels
- Keep informed and educated on business and developments in the spa/wellness sector, as well as the travel sector overall
- Participate in product training and weekend FAM trips as required
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Prior customer service and travel related experience
- Experience on computerised booking and reservations systems
- Knowledge and/or personal experience in health and wellbeing, i.e. exercise and fitness, yoga, spa treatments, healthy cuisine and diet, etc.
- Ability to work and contribute in a team atmosphere
- Strong negotiating skills
- Above average computer skills
- Strong communication skills - oral and written
- Strong personal organisational skills
- Attention to detail
Desirable:
- Demonstrated self-initiative
- Interest or experience in social media
- Desire to learn and improve
